What Our Community Is Saying
We had a great experience adopting our cat from MWHS. We filled out the application and were very quickly set up to view two cats. I believe MWHS fosters most of their cats, and they arranged to have us meet two cats at foster houses. This is a shelter that takes great care of its animals and is beyond passionate about finding the right home for them. I would recommend this shelter to any friend.

When our cat died last year, it took us awhile to consider adopting again. Eventually we found our way to MetroWest Humane Society. While we still have yet to adopt, we have begun fostering cats and volunteering in other ways. The community we have created through this organization has helped us through our grief and has brought so much meaning to our lives. The care and love shown to both people and cats by the volunteers and employees at MWHS cannot be overstated. If you’re looking to adopt, foster, or support your community, MetroWest Humane Society is the place to go!

I adopted a cat from here. The process was easy and the staff was super helpful during the process finding a good match and setting up a visit. They were also super helpful after, helping me find a cat sitter when I needed one.
