Each year we host a number of great events that provide fun for the participants as well as financial support for the shelter. We couldn't do what we do without the wonderful support of our members as well as our sponsors and vendors. We thank each and every one of you for your continued assistance!
Paws in the Park
When: Sunday June 3 2012 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Group Walk 11:00 am - 12:00pm
Where: Wayside Inn Grounds in Sudbury, MA
MWHS will have a booth at the 12th Annual Paws in the Park event presented by Save A Dog rescue group. A full day of fun and a half-mile walk for people and pets on the beautiful grounds of Longfellow's Wayside Inn, Sudbury, MA .
All your pledges go directly to MWHS. We hope to have a great turnout of participants representing MWHS! If you would like to do the walk:
- Print a pledge form and collect donations. All donations are due the day of the walk, June 3

Yard Sale
When: Saturday June 23, 2012 (rain date: June 30th) | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Where: MWHS Shelter, 30 Pond St., Ashland, MA
Drop off date: Saturday June 9, 2012; 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
We do take: cat related items, jewelry, jar candles, new gift items, sets of dishes, baking dishes, household items, seasonal decorations, craft items, lamps. Any furniture, tables, chairs, etc, have to be brought the morning of the yard sale, as we do not have enough room to store them.
We do not take: books, clothes, computers, black & white t.v.'s, large exercise equipment, and ski equipment. In general, please donate what you feel are re-saleable items. Don't forget, gold and silver can be sold for scrap, so we are accepting those donations as well.

Annual Auction
When: Saturday, November 17, 2012
Where:Indian Meadows Country Club, Westborough, MA
This annual event is extremely popular, with our complimentary pasta and salad bars, hors d'ouvres, desserts, cash bar, and a great variety of silent and live auction items.
