Hi, my name is Gail, and everyone tells me what beautiful green eyes I have and how adorable I am. A little about me – I came to the shelter over two years ago as a feral kitten and, even though all the wonderful volunteers tried so hard to socialize me, I would not budge – humans were not my cup of tea! But something amazing happened a couple of months ago – someone petted me, and I really liked it.
Now everyone is petting me – pretty neat. So, I am finally ready to find a forever home - it has been a long wait. I am still a little shy so I am looking for someone who will be patient and give me time to adjust to a new home. I really feel I have a lot of potential to be a friendly furry friend to a family who will give me a chance. I can be a little picky about my cat friends – I seem to get along better with young, gentle males, but I would also be happy to be your only child. Hopefully, my family is out there somewhere – even though the shelter is a great place to be, after two years, my wish for the New Year is a home of my very own.
